Strategic Solutions Sales Engineer
Quest Software
• Conduct technical product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements. • Collaborate with strategic sales teams to tailor solutions to client needs. • Partner with clients to identify business challenges and align solutions to address them. • Act as a trusted advisor to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. • Represent Quest solutions at industry events, user groups, and trade shows. • Assist clients in designing optimal architectures for Quest solutions. • Provide feedback to product management on customer requirements and market trends. • Mentor junior Sales Engineers within the organization.
Job Requirements
- Deep understanding of data intelligence, data modeling, database management, and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with tools to manage data and databases (for example, erwin Data Intelligence, erwin Data Modeler, SharePlex, Foglight, and Toad).
- 8-10+ years of experience in a PreSales role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical ideas.
- Ability to adapt presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience presenting at tradeshows, conferences, and user groups.
- Analytical skills to diagnose issues and propose creative solutions.
