• Expanding candidate reach by posting job requirements across online platforms • Using creative recruiting strategies to attract quality full-time and part-time candidates • Conducting phone screens to assess candidate viability and alignment with open roles • Actively attending career fairs, meeting with professional associations, engaging technical schools, universities, and outplacement groups • Reviewing applicants to ensure they meet role qualifications and company standards • Presenting job opportunities to candidates and negotiating competitive hourly wages • Maintaining organized records through online systems and any required recruiter metrics • Preparing personnel action forms for recruiting support team • Entering and managing open requisitions within recruiting systems • Mentoring peers and answering recruiter-related questions • Using advanced Boolean search techniques to proactively source talent • Planning and participating in recruiting events and hiring initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 2+ years’ experience in high volume recruiting
- PC literate in Windows environment including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving abilities
- English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
