Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions using Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML). - Build, train, evaluate, and optimize models using techniques such as classification, regression, and advanced analytics. - Collaborate with data engineers to define and consume curated datasets from Azure Synapse, ADLS, and Azure SQL. - Develop scalable feature engineering and model training pipelines. - Operationalize ML models using MLOps practices, including versioning, monitoring, and retraining strategies. - Translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders. - Work with large datasets using Python, SQL, and distributed processing frameworks. - Contribute to the design of analytics and AI architectures across Azure ecosystems. - Implement best practices for model explainability, reproducibility, and governance. - Support visualization and insight delivery through Power BI or similar tools. - Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. - Participate in client engagements, including discovery, experimentation, and solution design phases. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles. - Strong hands-on experience with: - Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML) - Azure Synapse Analytics - Azure Data Lake / Blob Storage - Solid programming skills in Python (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PySpark). - Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets. - Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments. - Understanding of data pipelines and collaboration with data engineering teams. - Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and version control best practices. - Ability to work independently and make pragmatic technical decisions. - Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) - Experience with MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle management. - Familiarity with Databricks or distributed ML workflows. - Experience with experiment tracking and model monitoring tools. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for ML solutions. - Exposure to design tools such as Miro or Figma for collaborative workstreams. - Experience working in regulated or data-sensitive environments. - Previous involvement in client-facing data science or discovery engagements.
