Senior Solutions Engineer (Strategic Accounts) Location: US Remote or Boston Role Overview The Senior Solutions Engineer partners with Sales to design, position, and prove the value of Nasuni’s cloud-native file data platform for enterprise customers. You will own the technical sales cycle—from discovery through proof-of-concept to deal close—helping customers modernize storage, simplify infrastructure, and activate unstructured data for AI and business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments, enjoys translating deep technical concepts into business value, and wants direct impact on pipeline growth and revenue. Level & Scope Definition - Own technical strategy across assigned territories and accounts - Lead discovery, solution design, and POCs for enterprise deals - Influence deal progression and technical win strategy - Partner closely with Account Executives, Product, and Customer Success - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical field best practices - Balance execution (customer-facing) with emerging leadership (mentorship, enablement) Responsibilities - Lead technical discovery to uncover customer requirements, risks, and success criteria - Design and present scalable solutions across cloud storage, backup, DR, and security - Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer environments - Own and execute Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate technical and business value - Translate technical capabilities into clear business outcomes for stakeholders - Partner with Sales to progress pipeline and accelerate deal closure - Contribute to RFPs, proposals, and technical validation processes - Document customer interactions, architectures, and outcomes in Salesforce - Provide field feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap - Leverage AI tools to improve demo customization, discovery insights, and sales efficiency Qualifications Must-Have - 8–12+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting - Experience supporting enterprise storage, cloud, or infrastructure solutions - Strong knowledge of NAS (SMB/NFS), Active Directory, virtualization, and Linux - Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (storage, backup, DR concepts) - Proven ability to run POCs and support complex technical sales cycles - Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences Preferred - Experience with data migration or hybrid cloud storage platforms - Prior experience supporting multi-rep territories or enterprise segments - Familiarity with security, ransomware protection, or compliance solutions Ideal - Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience influencing deal strategy and technical win plans - Exposure to AI-assisted workflows (demo automation, discovery insights, or sales tooling) Experience Guidelines - 8–12+ years total experience - 5+ years in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles - Experience supporting enterprise or upper mid-market deals About Nasuni Nasuni is the unstructured data foundation for enterprise teams—and the AI that supports them. Role Description The Senior Solutions Architect - Databases and Cyber Resilience serves as an overlay specialist for complex customer engagements involving on-premises, cloud-hosted, and cloud-native database protection across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as traditional databases such as MSSQL and Oracle. This role combines trusted-advisor customer engagement, solution architecture, technical validation, and cross-functional influence to help customers design resilient database protection and recovery strategies that preserve business continuity after outages, human error, or cyber incidents. • Own the engagement with a new/early customer. You’ll be boots on the ground working with our customers to understand their challenges and deploy our technology.
