Tax & Assurance Manager
Project Time & Cost, LLC
• Lead and manage client engagements across tax and assurance services, serving as the primary relationship owner and advisor. • Oversee preparation and review of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, and exempt organization tax returns, as well as audit, review, and compilation engagements. • Analyze financial statements and business operations to identify improvements in tax efficiency, internal controls, and accounting processes. • Coach, mentor, and train staff, providing technical guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities. • Manage engagement budgets, workflow, and timelines to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client satisfaction. • Collaborate with firm leadership to drive client growth, retention, and operational excellence through business development and strategic planning.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of public accounting experience with a mix of tax and assurance work.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting; CPA required (EA accepted for strong tax-focused candidates).
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead/develop professional staff.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit standards, and federal/state tax regulations.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative, growth-minded leader with an interest in diverse industries and continuous learning.
