Job Description

Principal Product Manager – Benefits Administration, Modernization

Navia Benefit Solutions, Inc.

• Lead the modernization and consolidation product roadmap execution across multiple scrum teams supporting the full benefits administration portfolio • Coordinate product priorities, release sequencing, and dependencies across multiple Product Owners — each owning their team's individual backlog — to deliver the portfolio roadmap • Own end-to-end execution of platform migration workstreams from current-state architecture into the target environment • Partner with engineering, compliance, operations, fraud, finance, and executive leadership to define and continuously refine product and platform strategy • Translate complex operational and regulatory requirements into scalable technical product solutions, with deep attention to HIPAA and PHI/PII compliance across every system touch point • Drive backend platform improvements related to data architecture, integrations, workflows, reporting, and operational tooling across the team-of-teams • Own technical product execution for initiatives spanning HSA, FSA, HRA, COBRA, retirement administration, commuter, compliance systems, and fraud operations • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify gaps across legacy systems and define future-state architecture requirements • Work closely with engineering teams on APIs, data flows, platform dependencies, migration planning, and systems interoperability across third-party retirement administration platforms • Prioritize modernization roadmaps balancing business impact, compliance risk, technical debt, and operational scalability across competing demands from multiple delivery teams • Help establish long-term product strategy around recordkeeping, retirement administration, and backend administration infrastructure

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in highly technical environments, with at least 3 years operating at a Principal or senior-IC level
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-team product execution — coordinating priorities and roadmaps across multiple Product Owners or scrum teams
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager working closely with engineering and architecture teams
  • Demonstrated track record leading systems modernization, platform consolidation, or enterprise transformation initiatives at portfolio scale (multiple interconnected systems, not single-platform ownership)
  • Experience working within benefits administration, recordkeeping, fintech, healthcare administration, retirement services, payroll, or other highly regulated industries
  • Deep understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and PII compliance requirements in a multi-system environment
  • Demonstrated experience with backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data architecture concepts
  • Experience supporting compliance-heavy workflows and operational systems
  • Familiarity with fraud prevention, compliance reporting, auditability, or regulated operational environments
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, compliance, finance, and executive stakeholders — with influence flowing through expertise, not reporting line
  • Strong experience driving execution across multiple concurrent dependencies and team boundaries
  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities and organizational change.

Benefits

  • Competitive Salary Range: $150K–$175K depending on location and experience
  • Generous health benefits
  • Company sponsored wellness benefits
  • Complimentary Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Paid time off
  • 6 Paid Holidays & 2 Paid Floating Holidays
  • Work from home and hybrid schedules available!
