Senior Product Owner, Digital Platforms
Ingredion Incorporated
• Own the end ‑ to ‑ end product vision, scope, and roadmap for MyIngredion and the Digital Helpdesk as integrated global digital platforms. • Drive the investment case to support operation, maintenance , and growth of the platform as part of the Ingredion digital ecosystem • Serve as the single owner of the product backlog , prioritizing features, enhancements, technical enablers, and defects based on business value, customer impact, scalability, and risk. • Ensure continued platform maintenance and operational continuity , including: Monitoring platform health, usage, and performance • Ensuring defects, tech debt, and operational gaps are addressed • Acting as interim owner where regional Product Owner or Business Ownership gaps exist. • Step in to support regions when capability, capacity, or ownership gaps emerge , ensuring delivery momentum, decision ‑ making continuity, and adherence to global standards. • Design and build the operating infrastructure required for execution , including: Clear RACI and ownership models • Repeatable intake, prioritization, and governance processes • Scalable ways of working that regions can adopt and sustain. • Partner with delivery teams and vendors in an agile model, supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, UAT readiness, and post ‑ go ‑ live hypercare . • Exercise product governance and decision rights , including scope trade ‑ offs, sequencing, prioritization, and escalation within Steering and Operating Committee forums. • Drive adoption, training, and change enablement , ensuring regions are equipped not only to launch, but to operate and continuously improve the platform. • Define, track, and act on product KPIs (e.g., adoption, CSAT, ticket deflection, resolution efficiency), using insights to guide continuous optimization.
Job Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Digital Platform roles, ideally within enterprise or B2B environments.
- Demonstrated experience owning customer ‑ facing digital platforms (e.g., portals, service platforms, SaaS ‑ like solutions).
- Strong expertise in agile delivery models (Scrum, SAFe , or equivalent), including backlog ownership and prioritization.
- Proven ability to influence across global, cross ‑ functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience working with technology, UX, analytics, and external vendors to deliver scalable digital solutions.

• Conduct user interviews, run research, and analyze Support feedback to identify pain points and needs. • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify new opportunities for value. • Prioritize backlog items (bugs, improvements, features) using prioritization frameworks (WSJF, RICE, MoSCoW, etc.). • Write User Stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications. • Clarify questions from Engineering and Design, remove blockers, and validate deliveries. • Collaborate with the Design/UX team to develop wireframes and ensure a high-quality user experience. • Communicate the roadmap, progress updates, and product vision to leadership and internal stakeholders. • Coordinate go-to-market launches of new features with Marketing and Sales teams. • Negotiate for resources and say “No” to requests that do not align with the product strategy. • Train and provide information on new features to Sales and Support teams.
