Job Description As we move forward with the growth and expansion of Residential Metal Roofing (RMR) within Metal Solutions, the Regional Sales Manager will be an instrumental part of the strategic planning and implementation. This role will be based and travel within the Mid-West. Scope Manages Team of ten to thirteen sales managers across large geographic region Responsible for over $110M with objectives to aggressively grow Responsibilities Establish sales targets to meet company objectives Responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization This key leader will partner with business development to extract maximum value from project specifications to drive increased close ratios and margin expansion Their collaboration with cross-functional leaders will be a critical success factor in driving a coordinated go-to-market strategy Integrate newly acquired company (Metal Sales) – culture, processes Essential Functions Develops annual sales plan in support of RMR organization strategy and objectives Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices Coach and grow the sales team on the use of sales methodology (Sales Challenger) and tools (CRM etc.) Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field is required 10 or more years in sales leadership role to include executive level work experience is required Strong knowledge and experience in technical oriented product selling Equivalent experience in a similar industry or product field is preferred Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environment Ability to influence leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches Proven track record of leading teams to execute on strategy and deliver superior results Remote office location is acceptable, with frequent travel required—approximately 60% (2–3 overnights per week) to support the needs of the business.
