Project Coordinator

• Process projects through to completion, adhering to program requirements. • Confirm the accuracy of information, interacting with internal and external customers, contractors, and program staff as needed. • Verify that energy-efficient products are eligible for incentives using database research. • Work with subject matter experts to review project inspection reports. • Update and maintain accurate and organized project tracking records and project tracking reports with detailed status notes on a regular basis. • Provide a timely response to all contractors, internal and external customers, and other program staff inquiries by chat, email and telephone regarding program questions and processes. • Effectively communicate with program participants and stakeholders in a variety of roles to collect necessary project information. • Assist customers by answering phones and chats.
Job Requirements
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules.
- Must take ownership of the work, do what is required and follow through on all expectations.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Proficiency in the use of all general office equipment.
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Ability to use databases for reports and accurate data entry.
- Previous experience working in a virtual environment is helpful but not required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred (or significant coursework completed) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the energy efficiency industry and/or utility incentive programs is preferred.
- Two or more years of work experience in a technically focused, administrative or customer service role.
- Previous experience managing multiple customers and programs.
