Role Description As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core products and platforms that enable business processes, operational excellence, security, and sustainable value creation across the organization. This role partners closely with stakeholders across IT and the business to define value-driven product initiatives, prioritize work, and ensure successful implementation and adoption. The Senior Product Manager combines technical fluency, customer-focused product thinking, and strong delivery leadership to maximize product outcomes and measurable business impact. - Product Strategy & Vision - Define and own the product vision, strategy, multi-year roadmap, and success metrics aligned to business goals and stakeholder priorities - Translate business needs, technical constraints, and strategic objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs - Own the product backlog and make trade-off decisions to maximize customer value and business outcomes - Conduct discovery, user research, and market analysis to validate problem-solution fit and inform product decisions - Product Planning & Prioritization - Lead product planning and prioritization using data, stakeholder inputs, and business value to ensure alignment with organizational goals - Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale product changes and integrations - Coordinate program and release activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in scope, and on budget - Act as product owner in Agile delivery teams: clarify scope, accept deliverables, manage sprint priorities, and remove blockers - Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership - Lead cross-functional product delivery—partner with engineering, design, QA, DevOps, architecture, security, operations, and business stakeholders - Coordinate developer and release-management activities for major releases, including cutover planning, rollback strategies, and post-release validation - Mentor and empower delivery teams; foster a culture of continuous improvement and product thinking - Hire, mentor, and develop product and delivery talent; build high-performing teams through coaching and career development - Act as a change agent: influence cross-functional peers to adopt product-led practices and data-driven decision making - Change Management & Adoption - Design and lead change management strategies for new product capabilities and major releases to ensure smooth transitions - Define and maintain adoption strategies, enablement playbooks, training materials, webinars, and in-app guidance - Monitor adoption, usage, and engagement metrics; identify friction points and run experiments to increase feature adoption - Develop ongoing training and engagement programs; drive go-to-market initiatives - Gather and synthesize customer feedback and usage data to inform roadmap and backlog priorities - Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication - Serve as the primary product liaison for technical and non-technical stakeholders - Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, timelines, and status clearly; maintain transparent, timely status reporting for leadership and vendors - Facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions and governance for prioritization and escalation - Partner with UX, engineering, Business Analysts, sales/marketing, operations, and Business Relationship Managers - Vendor Management & Procurement - Manage vendor relationships and third-party product lifecycle, including requirements, RFPs, contract alignment, and performance reviews - Maintain the vendor engagement roadmap: influence vendor strategy, timelines, and jointly-owned delivery milestones - Lead vendor selection support and coordinate vendor reviews with Procurement, Renewals, and SLA owners - Oversee vendor performance reviews and manage remediation for contract or delivery issues - Lead initial vendor and technology onboarding processes; define integration requirements and validate operational readiness - Negotiate requirements, SLAs, and delivery terms with vendor owners and Procurement - Compliance, Risk & Governance - Ensure product roadmap and releases meet regulatory, security, and privacy requirements before release - Partner with Risk/Compliance on controls and contribute to risk mitigation activities - Own product-related compliance tasks: annual assessments, attestations, and evidence collection - Maintain and execute risk treatment and mitigation plans for product and vendor-related risks - Ensure product designs meet security, compliance, privacy, and accessibility standards - Financial & Operational Management - Measure and report product value delivery against cost—track ROI, cost-to-serve, and key financial KPIs - Manage product budgets and resource allocation for program delivery and vendor costs - Use quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize features that deliver measurable business value - Maintain internal resources: product documentation, runbooks, knowledge base articles, and training materials - Coordinate handover to operations/support teams; ensure escalation paths, SLAs, and runbooks are current - Oversee ongoing product maintenance windows and coordinate patching/upgrades - Metrics, Analytics & Continuous Improvement - Define, track, and report product success metrics (adoption, retention, NPS, feature usage, uptime, SLAs) - Use analytics to inform decisions and prioritization; maintain success metrics dashboards - Implement and evolve product delivery methodologies (Agile, Lean, etc.) and best practices - Track program performance and team health; remove impediments and optimize delivery flow - Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to improve product delivery capabilities - Strategic & Special Initiatives - Participate in strategic planning, annual planning cycles, and M&A integration activities as needed - Drive special initiatives that require cross-functional coordination, process redesign, or vendor negotiation - Contribute to product management best practices and governance across the organization Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of product management experience in IT or technology environments, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise IT products or platforms - Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives from discovery through production - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and modern cloud-native architectures - Experience working with technical teams (engineering, architecture, security) and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills - Data-driven decision-making skills;
