What You'll Do: - Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for key Marketing Technology initiatives, providing architectural guidance and hands-on expertise across web, mobile, and in-store platforms. - Full-Stack System Design: Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure full-stack systems that power marketing campaigns, retail media, and personalization platforms. - AI-Powered Innovation: Architect and implement AI-powered agentic workflows for software development acceleration and business process automation, leveraging modern orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Agents SDK, and Amazon Bedrock Agents. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into reliable, impactful technical solutions. - Engineering Excellence: Champion and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines across the team, rooted in software engineering first principles. - Mentorship & Growth: Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and accountability — including upskilling the team on AI-assisted development practices. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, technical lead, or senior engineer building production systems from first principles, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and/or Java. - 3+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and cloud-based distributed systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure. - 2+ years of hands-on experience building or integrating AI/ML-powered features and agentic workflows into production applications, including familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and leading AI model platforms. - 3+ years of experience in a MarTech, SaaS, e-commerce, or consumer-facing application environment, with hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Google Marketing Platform, Braze, or Bluecore. - 2+ years of proven experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives, driving architectural decisions under ambiguity, and mentoring engineering teams. - Demonstrated daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to write, refactor, debug, and accelerate software delivery. Requirements - The annual base salary range for this position is $160,470.00 - $198,200.00. - Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses. - This job will be posted for a minimum of five days. • Design and scale backend services using Java and Spring Boot • Develop and maintain multiple distinct frontends using React • Triage and troubleshoot production issues dynamically • Manage and optimize event-driven messaging workflows using Kafka • Lead and coordinate technical efforts • Participate in architectural discussions and code reviews

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs endpoints for the AI platform. • Design and develop Python/Java SDKs that provide intuitive interfaces for teams to interact with the AI platform. • Build robust backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) to handle agent lifecycle management, deployment, and monitoring. • Develop secure authentication and authorization systems supporting multi-tenant architecture. • Understand how an agentic solution works and create efficient data access layers and database schemas that enable AI agents to interact with various internal data sources. • Implement asynchronous task processing systems for handling long-running AI agent operations. • Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and help set the technical vision for the AI platform roadmap. • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the software development lifecycle. • Provide technical guidance on backend architecture, Python development, and SDK design best practices. • Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting. • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Own feature delivery across Compliance, Recruiting, and Camps, breaking complex work into small, shippable increments and seeing them through from design to production • Design and build internal APIs and data access layers for performant, reliable cross-product data consumption, including the API versioning and service layer work needed to decompose the monolith into a Citadel-style architecture • Diagnose and resolve critical performance issues in the data import pipeline through measurement, testing, and targeted fixes • Provide mentorship and technical direction to junior engineers as a natural part of how you work, not as a side responsibility • Drive code quality through MR reviews, testing practices, and AI-assisted development methods • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
