Executive Events & Experiences - Global Event Strategy: Executive sponsorship and oversight of Groundbreak (our global customer conference), tier one regional events, and tailored executive experiences. - Executive Briefing Program: Senior ownership for Procore’s Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) program, delivering impactful, high-touch experiences for customers. - Digital Event Strategy: Digitally connect and scale event experiences. - Community Engagement: Foster a rich customer community through initiatives like the Culture Academy and Customer Advisory Boards. Communications & Media Relations - External Impact: Manage media relations and influencer strategies for a publicly traded company. - Internal Alignment: Connect external and internal communications; own strategy for employee communications and ‘all company’ meetings to foster transparency and engagement. Team Leadership - Global Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing, globally distributed team. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Strategy to ensure full-funnel execution and alignment. - AI Forward Orientation: Apply an AI lens on how to create differentiated experiences and streamline processes which challenge the status quo. What We’re Looking For: - Experience: 15+ years of communications experience, with senior leadership experience at a publicly traded company. Additionally seeking brand, events or marketing leadership experience. B2B technology experience is preferred. - Education: BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field – or career equivalent. - Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to be a visionary while applying the tactical expertise to achieve "big picture" objectives. - Analytical Rigor: Strong skills in using data and customer insights to drive creative direction and measure the effectiveness of programs. - Executive Presence: Exemplary communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders and executives. - Innovation: An AI-forward orientation, applying new technologies to streamline processes and create differentiated customer, employee, and team experiences. Additional Information Base Pay Range: 247,200.00 - 339,900.00 USD Annual This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. The Senior Manager, External Communications, reports to the Director, External Communications, and manages both short- and long-term communications strategies and programs to advance and protect the company’s external reputation. This position is responsible for communications strategy/execution for critical corporate sustainability focus areas, including recycling and the company’s sustainability innovation initiatives to advance plastics circularity and decarbonization. Duties include planning for, monitoring and acting on proactive media opportunities, representing the company with media, developing messaging and materials for use with various audiences, and production of the company’s annual sustainability report. This person will develop content for media, executives, corporate reports and social platforms, and work directly with other functional teams and stakeholders to effectively align company positioning.
