Role Description The Director of Operations will play a key role strategically and tactically in delivering RockWallet’s roadmap and revenue targets. This high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills and a proven track record of success in operations management. - Own and drive the weekly plans, milestones, and operational projects designed to help the VP Operations deliver to target. - Ensure consistent alignment of business priorities: effectively navigate the organization to unblock challenges, solicit support, delegate, and keep day-to-day tasks moving forward. - Work effectively across Development, Product Management, Marketing, Payments and Customer Care teams to execute and deliver on RockWallet’s roadmap and revenue targets. - Work closely with teams in a mentorship capacity, coaching the organization to operational excellence and ensuring processes and best practices are consistently applied. - Track business results, manage weekly organizational reporting, monitor KPIs, OKRs and flag risks/blockers that may impact achieving desired results. - Build transparency, accountability, and collaboration within and across teams to ensure weekly plans and deliverables are aligned, eliminate overlap, and are optimized. - Oversee day-to-day operations, facilitate a steady flow of communications and feedback between all members of the team, and deliver ad-hoc special initiatives. - Coordinate, review, and prepare business requirements for new product features/improvements in close collaboration with Product Management and other key stakeholders. - Assist in delivering resources and tools to provide the best Customer experience to increase new Customer acquisition, increase Customer retention, and help improve operational efficiency. Qualifications - 8-10 years of Business Operations or Project Management experience within a financial tech industry (including forecasting and reporting experience). - Strong commitment to excellence and driven to deliver Customer satisfaction. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. - Experience in operating in an international organization and virtual working environments. - Strong managerial skills with the ability to motivate and effectively work with a distributed team. - Clear communication skills, both verbal and written; executive-level presentation skills are a must. - A passion and a willingness to learn new information quickly, with high attention to detail. - Collaborative mindset plus a willingness to roll up your sleeves and dig into the tactical alongside the strategic. - Proven record of meeting tight deadlines within budget and to quality standards.
