Senior Director, Corporate Development

Role Description The role will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Development and will build and lead a best-in-class corporate development function. The Senior Director, Corporate Development will lead transaction activities ranging from: - Identifying, evaluating, and driving public and private company acquisitions - Joint ventures - Asset divestitures and restructurings - Minority investments - Other critical initiatives This role will require a balance of leadership and support for all aspects of the transaction evaluation and execution process, including: - Idea generation - Deal sourcing and screening - Valuation - Due diligence - Negotiation and structuring - Driving collaboration and approvals - Integration The Senior Director, Corporate Development must exhibit outstanding relationship skills with both external parties and internal teams. They must be able to think creatively and strategically about new opportunities, but also act very tactically to develop and complete transactions. Qualifications - Undergraduate degree and MBA (preferable) - 10 plus years of proven experience in the M&A technology sector, which could include banking, consulting, or private equity experience - Strong financial modeling and valuation skills - Hands-on deal leadership experience - Strong leadership and program management skills with the ability to work and build consensus with multiple cross-functional teams - Ability to quickly adapt to changes resulting from a dynamic and growing business environment - Self-starter with flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust near-term role to business needs - Comfortable with a team-oriented and collaborative approach to achieving impact - Positive attitude and understanding of the GlobalFoundries culture - Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities - Ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior leadership and external partners/counterparties - Strong strategic agility, critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Ability to deal with time pressure - Strict attention to detail Requirements - Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Benefits - Expected Salary Range: $220,000.00 - $385,000.00 - The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location
