VP, Relationship Manager
Axos Bank
• Identify, source, and develop new client relationships with businesses, vendors, and referral partners • Execute proactive calling strategies and maintain a robust pipeline to drive deal flow • Represent Verdant in market-facing activities, industry events, and networking channels • Build and manage long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on financing solutions • Deepen client relationships through cross-selling and identifying additional financing opportunities • Deliver a high-level client experience through responsiveness, expertise, and execution excellence • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial lending and equipment finance relationships • Maintain ongoing client engagement, including financial reviews and risk monitoring • Ensure strong credit quality and adherence to internal risk and compliance standards • Structure and negotiate equipment finance transactions, including leases and loans • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk to support underwriting decisions • Partner with credit, legal, and operations teams to facilitate approvals and closing • Work cross-functionally with sales, credit, operations, and syndication teams to deliver solutions • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure seamless deal execution and client onboarding • Contribute to strategic initiatives to expand Verdant’s market presence and capabilities
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in commercial lending, equipment finance, or relationship management
- Proven track record of originating and managing commercial credit relationships
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment
- Experience developing business through referral networks (brokers, vendors, COIs)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
