Associate Art Director - Spatial

Role Description Associate Art Directors on the spatial team are emerging spatial designers with an exceptional creative eye, strong visual instincts, and foundational 3D design skills that we can continue to grow and foster. This person supports the development of physical brand experiences, helping translate creative concepts into mood boards, floor plans, 3D models, sourcing references, and client-facing presentation materials. They are curious, highly visual, and excited to go deep into aesthetic research, details, references, and spatial possibilities. They should be comfortable exploring ideas, clearly communicating their thinking, and collaborating closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Graphic Designers, Strategists, and Producers. This is a hands-on creative support role for someone who is eager to learn the full process of experiential design. The ideal candidate has taste, curiosity, momentum, and a strong desire to understand how creative ideas become physical environments. Qualifications - A portfolio of recent work showcasing spatial design thinking, 3D studies, mood boards, renderings, drawings, environmental design, interiors, architecture, scenic design, or related creative work - 1-3 years of spatial design, environmental design, interior design, architecture, scenic design, experiential, or related creative experience - A strong creative eye and emerging point of view around aesthetics, materials, composition, and physical environments - Foundational experience in one or more 3D design programs such as SketchUp, Rhino, C4D, Blender, or similar - Foundational experience with rendering tools such as Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar - Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator - Familiarity with Figma and Google Workspace - Strong visual research and mood boarding skills - Clear written and verbal communication skills - A collaborative, curious, and proactive approach to creative work - Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities - A proactive, organized, get-it-done mindset, with a strong desire to keep learning. Requirements - Assist in the development of floor plans, furniture layouts, spatial diagrams, and basic elevations - Support 3D design development for activations, events, environments, and brand experiences - Create and refine mood boards that express look, feel, tone, materiality, and spatial direction - Source furniture, decor, materials, finishes, and visual references - Help generate client-facing slides that support creative concepts and spatial ideas - Support the team onsite, monitoring builds, styling, and bringing the space to life - Participate in brainstorms, concept development, and team ideation sessions - Explore aesthetic references and creative directions that help push the work beyond the expected - Support Art Directors and Creative Directors in translating concepts into clear visual deliverables - Assist with renderings, drawings, presentation assets, and design documentation as needed - Collaborate with strategy, production, graphic design, and creative leads - Help organize creative assets, references, and working files throughout the life of a project Benefits - Temporary position with potential for contract extension or conversion - A collaborative, inclusive and enthusiastic team - Flexibility in work schedules Physical Requirements Individuals will be required to sit for the majority of the day and may be required to stand as needed.
