QA Analyst

• Carry out end-to-end, regression and user acceptance testing across relevant systems and releases. • Design and create test scripts to cover business and technical requirements. • Execute and maintain manual regression packs independently. • Support agile delivery through daily stand-ups, story ownership and collaboration with development teams. • Identify and create test data for different testing phases. • Provide clear reporting on test execution and testing status. • Document, track and escalate defects and issues using Jira or similar tools. • Support the implementation of new QA processes and release plans. • Provide support and guidance to junior team members where required. • Carry out other duties reasonably required for the role.
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of manual testing principles and quality assurance practices.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Experience using test management and project management tools.
- Knowledge of QA planning, scripting and execution.
- Awareness of deployment tools and pipelines, such as Octopus.
- Good understanding of the product, platform and wider software delivery lifecycle.
- Ability to work effectively with others and communicate testing progress clearly.
- Awareness of current and emerging technologies and willingness to contribute to improvement initiatives.
