Event Programmer

Ticketmaster

• Utilise bespoke ticketing software to program a variety of ticketing work requests. • Prepare, create, check and maintain a large variety of events and offers, including some of the most complex submissions, ensuring all work is programmed accurately. • Working on set ups for medium/large system venues. • Help train new starters. • Liaise effectively with internal departments and external clients to make sure all events are set up correctly to meet the client’s needs in a timely manner. • Work within a team of people to ensure the Event Programming department works efficiently and maintains a high level of quality and consistency. • Analyse and organise individual workload employing strong attention to detail. • Follow rigorous checking procedures and set guidelines for events and offers. • Become fully conversant with Event Programming processes and bespoke Ticketmaster software packages. • Additional Event Programming or Client Services duties as required. • Working flexible hours as required. • Work in a time pressured environment whilst maintaining a high level of service. • Provide tiered support to other departments at point of on sale. • Anticipate problems within event building and plan contingencies and strategies to deal with them.

Job Requirements

  • Computer literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven experience of learning complex software packages.
  • Experience of working with Clients and establishing relations
  • Fluent or professional-level Japanese language skills, both written and verbal, are highly preferred for this role
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Experience working in a data-driven environment, where attention to detail was imperative.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, working in a target driven role.

Role Description Majesco is seeking an Events Specialist to help plan and execute events that strengthen our brand, deepen customer and prospect engagement, and contribute to demand generation outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will support the strategy and delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events that elevate Majesco’s market presence and create meaningful opportunities for connection with customers, partners, prospects, and employees. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management with creativity, attention to detail, and a sharp understanding of how events support both brand visibility and pipeline growth. The Events Specialist will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, business leaders, external partners, and vendors to bring events to life from concept through execution and post-event follow-up. Key Responsibilities - Plan and execute Majesco-led and third-party events, including conferences, customer events, field events, webinars, and executive programs. - Manage event timelines, workbacks, budgets, logistics, and vendor coordination to ensure programs are delivered on time and on brand. - Partner with brand, content, and digital demand generation teams to align event strategy with campaign priorities and business goals. - Support event messaging, attendee journeys, promotional plans, signage, collateral, registration, and onsite experience. - Coordinate with sales and business stakeholders to maximize event-driven meetings, customer engagement, and follow-up activity. - Track event performance, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, influenced pipeline, and overall program effectiveness. - Maintain event calendars, project plans, status updates, and post-event recaps with clear recommendations for improvement. - Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand presence across all event touchpoints and experiences. - Manage relationships with venues, agencies, production partners, and other event suppliers. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, scale repeatable event programs, and enhance the attendee experience. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or a related field. - 4–7 years of relevant experience in event marketing, field marketing, or corporate events. - Proven track record of executing events that support both brand awareness and business development goals. - Ability to travel as needed to support event execution. Requirements - Strong experience supporting and managing B2B marketing events, ideally in enterprise software, technology, or financial services. - Experience supporting executive events and roundtables. - Ability to balance brand-building goals with measurable demand generation outcomes. - Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at once. - Strong communication and collaboration skills across executive stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external vendors. - Experience managing budgets, contracts, timelines, registration workflows, and event logistics. - Working knowledge of event metrics and how to evaluate contribution to engagement, leads, and pipeline. - Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished, professional experiences. - Proficiency with event management, marketing automation, CRM, and collaboration tools. - Familiarity with lead management and campaign measurement practices. - Experience working with creative production, branded environments, and experiential elements. - Exposure to webinar and virtual event platforms.
