Job Description

Software Quality Analyst

Pharmacy Data Management, Inc. (PDMI)

• Develop understanding of the transaction systems, application functionality, and development process • Perform software quality assurance testing, including black box testing, white box testing, user acceptance testing, and maintenance regression testing on medium to large size projects • Develop, document, and publish test scripts, test cases, and defects via reports in a testing software tool throughout the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) process • Analyze the results of software tests and provide results for use in development code inspections and group reviews of project deliverables • Test any new software to ensure integration into the company’s systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications • Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications • Ability to work collaboratively and use a variety of interpersonal communication methods to effectively convey information to business and non-technical audiences • Ability to work on multiple efforts concurrently and shift priorities quickly.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum two-year degree in IT or computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the healthcare insurance industry preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience writing test cases and defects in a software program designed for creating test cases and defects.
  • 2+ years’ experience developing a test strategy on medium-large projects.
  • Familiarity with various programming languages; SQL experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with JIRA for defect management.
  • Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (preferred, but not required).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing.

Role Description The Financial Analyst, Corporate Initiatives supports strategic growth and investment decisions through advanced financial analysis, modeling, and performance reporting. This role is responsible for evaluating new initiatives and capital proposals using NPV, IRR, sensitivity, and scenario analyses, as well as monitoring project performance against approved plans and budgets. - Build financial models including NPV, IRR, sensitivity, and scenario analyses to support new initiatives and capital proposals. - Monitor actual project results versus projections/budget/initial plan, perform variance analysis, and identify cost or ROI issues. - Collaborate on forecasts and annual budgets; produce and deliver dashboards, KPI summaries, and variance reports to management. - Conduct “what-if” and scenario planning to evaluate impact of strategic pivots. - Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders. - Partner with IT, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial projections, timelines, and project milestones. - Summarize complex financial insights into compelling narratives and presentations for executive leadership. - Perform other ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectives. - Enhance FP&A tools, reporting processes, and methodologies aimed at improving accuracy, efficiency, and transparency. - All other duties as assigned.
