Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk area. Monitor the visitor logbook - Direct visitors to the appropriate person in the building - Answer phone calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary - Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times - Receive, sort, and distribute mail/packages timely and accurately. Sign for deliveries and track all certified mail - Ensure confidential mail or materials are concealed and securely stored - Ensure certified mail is delivered to the appropriate person, timely - Prepare FedEx/UPS shipments and use mail machine for postage/mailings - Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, storing and transcribing documents - Approve conference room availability - Coordinate projects and events as needed Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent - Proven work experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role - Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - Positive attitude and professional appearance - Excellent customer service skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise - Experience using office equipment (i.e. phones, computers, printers, fax machines) - Proficient in Microsoft Office software - Notary certified preferred DiGeronimo Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we value workplace diversity and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
