Selection Criteria To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. - Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent extensive experience in a health care setting. - Proven experience in developing, reviewing and negotiating clinical trial budgets and financial terms with external stakeholders. - Demonstrated analytical and reporting capability, including the ability to prepare accurate financial forecasts, impact assessments, dashboards, variance analysis and financial summaries, using multiple systems (including CTMS). - Strong knowledge of financial governance, compliance, revenue management, invoicing, reconciliation and cost-recovery principles. - Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, including supervision, training, performance management and capability uplift of finance or operational staff. - Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts for clinical, operational and executive audiences. - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and high standards of financial integrity. - Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and alignment with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), NSW Health policies, NCTGF requirements and organisational governance frameworks. - Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). About the role The Manager leads and coordinates a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective and efficient service delivery. This includes the efficient execution of decisions, consistency in decision-making across the team, and that decisions are evidence-based. The Manager provides advice and guidance, develops capabilities and competency and ensures compliance with relevant legislation, business policies and procedures. The Manager coordinates a team of Team Leaders and Assessment Officers that review history information about applicants, reviewing and categorising criminal, workplace and other records in accordance with relevant legislation and business procedures.
