To be successful in this role, you'll need to use C without hesitation, tackle complex problems you've never encountered before, and design code that is lightweight, performant, modular, and easy to maintain. What you will do - Work with UI, encoding/decoding, networking, input management, and more, across multiple platforms - Dive into a C codebase from day one and confidently deploy code used by more than 5 million people - Design cutting-edge video game technologies, ranging from video rendering to UDP protocols - Determine low-latency solutions for the challenges we face - Listen to customer feedback, understand the needs of the broader community, and identify opportunities to make our users happy What we are looking for - Real-world experience in a C codebase in production - Knowledge of macOS application development (e.g., IOKit, CoreGraphics, window/input management) and native application delivery on macOS - Knowledge of Windows desktop application development - Strong willingness to learn, improve a product and make customers happy - Experience in a globally distributed team You may also have - Possess knowledge of application development under Linux/Ubuntu - Possess knowledge of Windows and Mac driver development - The fact that you have worked in the video game industry or have worn out your WASD keys from playing games on your computer is certainly an asset!
