Oncology Sales Representative

• Help us continue to grow and define the oncology market of today and tomorrow with a driven, customer-focused, and collaborative team • As an Oncology Sales Representative, you will be a key member engaging with customers to address identified needs • Educate key stakeholders about our oncology products • Communicate with the broader oncology community • Actively working to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals within your territory • Working with the other team members in the territory, attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography • Ensure customers have a seamless experience with our company's Oncology • Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structure, business model, and key influencers, while building business relationships and trust to uncover and comprehend their needs • Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment • Review and evaluate patterns for products purchased and prescribed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience
- Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience, work experience in the healthcare/scientific field with oncology experience being strongly preferred (including pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices) that is not sales related, professional marketing experience, or military experience
- Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle
- Travel the amount of time the role requires, including overnight travel 10 - 15%
- Reside in or within a reasonable distance to the district
- 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers (preferred)
- Oncology field sales or clinical oncology experience (preferred)
- Documented history of strong performance in a sales/marketing or oncology clinical role (preferred)

Position Overview: The Sales Account Executive is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing share in the territory, by expanding sales of existing customers and developing new business opportunities within the territory. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - All sales activities are related to their assigned accounts. - Developing a consultative, value-added strategy to optimize opportunities for growth within the territory. - Collaborating with internal resources including Manufacturing, Product Management, Technical Service, Regulatory and Customer Service to provide the highest standard of service. - Function as a gateway to the depth and breadth of Sun Chemical’s market leading technology for Inks, Coatings, Consumables and next-generation sustainable products and technologies. - Learn and understand the Customers Operating Reality, providing Voice of the Customer feedback to Sun Chemical. - Develop and maintain account level strategies, identifying key buying factors, stakeholders, decision makers, and influencers. Develop value propositions specific to each customer and their needs. - Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop volume, revenue, margin targets and strategize how to meet those targets. - Recognize and understand competitive threats and opportunities, develop strategies to protect existing customer base and capture new business. - Manage day-to-day territory needs through in-person and remote customer interactions. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Undergraduate degree is a required.
