Role Description We are looking for an exceptionally gifted UI/UX professional who is obsessed with exploring and advancing the latest interactive design trends with a focus on in-vehicle experiences. In this role, you must be able to envision the big picture while also rolling up your sleeves to perfect the smallest project details. The ideal candidate will work under experienced ADAS and DI (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Driver Information) leadership within Digital Product Design by: - Leading the design of features and improvements of our products ensuring they align with business objectives and user needs. - Using Figma and UX tools to develop vehicle features and compelling user experiences. - Taking ownership of independent tracks of design work and managing timelines and deliverables. - Developing and iterating user flows, mock-ups and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas. - Applying data driven insights to inform design decisions and measure the impact of design changes. Digital Product Design at Ford: - Expressing our brand vision through user interface design for in-vehicle experiences. - Executing designs with a keen sensibility to layout, color, typography and interactive behavior. - Exhibiting a passion for emerging hardware and software technologies, new interaction models, product design, and excellence in visual design. - Collaborating close with Product Management, Engineering and Feature Teams to ensure a seamless transition from concept to implementation. - Employing a systematic approach to solving large, complex design challenges. - Presenting creative work early and often to key stakeholders in design reviews. Role You will be responsible for creating and supporting user-centered solutions that make paying by card online easier and more secure. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, a passion for building world-class and highly scalable products, and the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. Collaborative approach: You'll collaborate with other designers (Content, Product) and researchers, Product Management and Engineering to create high-quality experience. You'll be effective in leading and participating in design workshops and reviews. Incorporating customer feedback: Participate in all phases of the research and design process from framing the right problem to solve and defining the design target all the way through to defining the vision, and future state experience to the validation of concepts, prototype or already built products. Managing design at scale: Our work doesn't end with delivery. The role will mean contributing to the maintenance of extensive Figma libraries, reference designs and our "Gold Standard".
