Abbott
Role Description As a Key Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales strategies in the assigned market. You will drive primary sales, secondary sales, and ensure brand presence in defined markets. You will supervise/manage the distributor network to achieve desired sales objectives, thereby ensuring achievement of financial and ethical objectives of the division as per the business strategy. To achieve this, you will have the authority to: - Develop your customer management plan. - Approve expiry products and issue credit notes for distributors under your control. - Recommend appointment and credit limits of distributors. - Develop, execute, and plan your resource utilization. - Participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment. You have a very important role to play in the Division's success. Qualifications - 2 – 5 years of experience handling KOLs with managing institutions experience. Requirements - Plan for monthly and quarterly business. - Plan demand generation and fulfillment. - Monitor actual sales and make mid-course corrections to reduce variance against expectations. - Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and other competitors' brands. - Create and update a customer list with a specified number of doctors/chemists (Trade) as per the therapy/product requirement and maintain it in physical/electronic format. - Identify potential towns and appoint distributors and customers (trade) in line with business philosophy. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by promoting the company's product ethically to customers as per the business plan. - Engage in science-based discussions with doctors and chemists for product promotion in clinics and at chemist places. - Organize Camps (CME) as per the division strategy and customers' needs. - Facilitate the successful launch of new products in the territory by identifying and targeting customers, meeting them at pre-determined intervals, and providing effective in-clinic/trade promotion and feedback to the company. - Execute the customer management plan to ensure that all customers are covered as per the plan and meet minimum KPIs, including: - 100% coverage of Doctors. - Customer call average as per the customer management plan of the division/therapy. - Market intelligence collection and retailer-level inventory management calls as per the product profile and marketing strategy of the therapy/division. • Manage and support existing dealer relationships throughout the territory while identifying opportunities for continued growth and strategic dealer development • Coordinate with internal technical, operations, customer service, and logistics teams to resolve dealer concerns efficiently • Assist with warranty claims, RGA (Return Goods Authorization) processes, and product issue resolution • Ensure warranty and return requests are handled professionally, accurately and in a timely manner • Assist in communicating product updates, installation best practices, and technical resources to dealer partners
