Functional Analyst, SAP FI

• Act as a functional specialist in the SAP FI module, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, treasury, and integrations with other modules. • Map, analyze, and optimize accounting, tax, and financial processes, aligning them with SAP system best practices. • Support the business area in defining requirements and propose technical and functional solutions. • Assist in the configuration and parameterization of the FI module in SAP, including customizations, testing, user acceptance (homologation), and production support of the live environment. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (BR GAAP, IFRS) and Brazilian tax legislation. • Review functional documentation (BBPs, functional specifications, user manuals). • Support audit and controllership areas in responding to compliance requests.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SAP FI Consultant in implementation and rollout projects, with a strong focus on support/maintenance (sustainment).
  • Knowledge of financial, accounting and tax processes: accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, bank integrations, tax calculation, SPED, ECD and ECF.
  • Experience with FI-MM, FI-SD, and FI-CO integrations.
  • Experience with Brazil localization (TAXBRA, NFe, NFSe, and ancillary obligations).
  • Experience with S/4HANA.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
  • Good communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to interact with business and IT stakeholders.
  • SAP FI certification.
  • Prior experience in tax-related projects (e.g., GRC, TDF).
  • Knowledge of SAP CO (Controlling).
  • Intermediate or advanced English.
