District Sales Manager – Fluid Process Systems and Products

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Account Managers • Drive growth in revenue, market share, and profitability • Develop and execute district and territory sales plans • Support prospecting, customer engagement, quoting, and closing activities • Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans when needed • Build strong supplier and customer relationships • Partner with internal teams on inventory and strategic initiatives • Review forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or related is preferred
- 5+ years of distribution sales experience of industrial components. Experience selling components and services within Fluid Process markets (fluid systems, fluid handling, fluid filtration, etc.) is highly preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory / management experience of an outside sales team
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead, motivate, develop, and manage a sales team to profitable sales growth
- Ability to drive productivity improvement and help account managers achieve higher sales levels
- P&L familiarity, including the ability to work with and/or produce budgets, forecasts, sales reports, etc.
- Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated strategic thinking skills
- Computer proficiency is required including MS Office and the ability to learn and use a CRM system.
- Must have a valid driver's license
