Senior Sales Compensation Planning Analyst

Role Description The Senior Sales Compensation Planning Analyst is responsible for driving the implementation and management of the sales compensation plan to motivate ResMed’s sales force to achieve sales goals, providing recommendations on quota methodology, and providing on-going reporting and analysis of key factors impacting sales compensation plans. - Partner with Leadership to align the Sales Comp plan design and business strategy. - Work with Sales and Operations leadership with Sales Coverage planning and modeling. - Help design and revise compensation plans that attract and retain top talent while aligning with our strategic goals and financial parameters. - Conduct simulations and scenario analyses to forecast the impact of compensation changes. - Calculates commission/incentive award payments to the Sales team based on Quota or Commission/SaaS comp plan structure. - Builds the payout models, distributes statements, and prepares rankings. - Provide structured and well-researched data-driven Sales recommendations to the sales leadership team. - Resolves reconciliation issues and maintains/audits information needed to track revenue. - Analyzes sales performance results, prepares commission expense reports, presentations, and recommendations for sales and/or finance management. - Perform other ad hoc financial and sales analysis projects as needed involving KPI, competitive markets, sales operations, sales promotions, marketing programs and channel management, etc. - Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Qualifications - Experience in Sales Comp plan design. Both SaaS and Product background. - Familiarity with incentive plan structures; bookings and revenue-based incentive plans, SaaS comp models, quotas models, accelerators, pay mix, leverage points, industry standard OTE. - Strong analytical capabilities and experience creating, deploying & administering sales tools. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while delivering results in a timely manner. - Excellence in attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong data reporting/analysis tools. - Ability to successfully achieve set deadlines. - Strong organizational and communication skills along with the desire to work with little supervision. - Requires a minimum B.S./B.A. in Business, Finance or Economics. Requirements - Experience within the medical device, regulated healthcare, and/or high-tech (hardware) industries highly preferred. - Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as record of success in sales. - Viewed as an expert in the field. - May have a leadership role. - Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. - Has expert level knowledge of company products and services and may be tasked with introducing new products.
