IT Manager, Release Management

• Lead and coordinate enterprise Release Management activities across multiple technology teams, portfolios, and initiatives • Establish and align structured Release Management processes with ITIL best practices • Facilitate release readiness reviews, risk and dependency assessments, and Go/No-Go decision processes • Maintain enterprise release calendars, deployment schedules, and maintenance windows • Ensure alignment with Change Management governance and ITIL operational disciplines • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, and Operations teams to coordinate release planning and implementation • Identify risks, dependencies, and potential deployment conflicts across initiatives and value streams • Provide clear communication and reporting on release readiness, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Operations coordination
- Strong understanding of ITIL Change and Release Management practices
- Experience operating in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- Experience coordinating enterprise-level releases across multiple teams or platforms
- Experience using ServiceNow ITSM for Change and Release Management
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for tracking delivery and documentation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to mediate competing priorities
- Demonstrate growth mindset and desire to continuously learn
- Ability to coordinate complex initiatives across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.

Role Description The IT Internship program is focused on providing interns exposure to GuideWell Source's business processes and the IT systems that support it.
