Job Details Summary Under the general direction of the Sr. Director, US CA Engineering, the Sr. .NET Developer will help advance MWI's internal applications by designing, building, and operating modern web applications and services on the Microsoft stack. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions using .NET and contemporary front-end frameworks, with an emphasis on engineering excellence across a diverse and evolving product portfolio. This role is 100% remote. Partners with product managers, architects, UX designers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready software. The role supports the ongoing development of internal platforms and digital products. Key Responsibilities Core Development - Design, build, and maintain full-stack .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, modern UI technologies (React), and responsive design principles. - Develop scalable backend services, integration layers, and data access patterns (SQL/ORM) optimized for performance and maintainability. - Build and evolve solutions across new and existing products, demonstrating the flexibility to context-switch, learn new domains quickly, and deliver value in ambiguous or fast-changing environments. AI-Assisted Development Tooling - Leverage AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate coding, improve code quality, and streamline day-to-day development workflows. - Stay current on emerging developer productivity tools and share best practices with the broader engineering team. Collaboration & Engineering Culture - Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and incident management. - Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure alignment on priorities, technical direction, and delivery timelines. - Contribute to a healthy, adaptive engineering culture - one that embraces change, resolves conflicting approaches constructively, and continuously improves. Experience & Educational Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience. - 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with strong emphasis on the .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.). - Solid experience building REST APIs, modern web UIs, and cloud-native applications on Azure. - Demonstrated ability to work across multiple products, platforms, or domains - thriving in environments where priorities shift and new challenges arise regularly. - Strong plus: Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and practices (AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar). - Strong plus: Practical knowledge of application security principles and experience embedding security into the development lifecycle. - Strong plus: Experience with development related to payment processing. - Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.
