Project Manager (Utility BESS)
Trina Solar
Role Description - Manage project and commissioning works of Trina’s energy storage projects in Europe, cooperating with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors. - Support Trina’s project execution efforts by developing and executing commissioning plans. - Manage and negotiate contracts with customers in terms of project delivery clauses. - Lead project effort to achieve commercial operations and handover from delivery/construction team to the O&M team for each project. - Comply with company policies, ensuring suppliers and contractors follow H&S regulations. - Develop and execute testing protocols based on market rules, DNO requirements, and contractual obligations. - Produce project progress reports and project’s risk matrix. Qualifications - Suitable engineering degree or qualifications. - Related experience in managing project and commissioning work of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects or other renewable energy projects. - Must have experience adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting. - Strong experience supervising site activities amongst different contractors. - Familiar with related electrical standards, regulations, and legislation. - Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines. - Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives). - CSCS card holder or equivalent. - Excellent MS Office capabilities; SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus. - Must be willing and able to travel in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet. - Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working. - Languages: Fluent English and Italian; German or any other additional language will be a plus.
