As a Demand Planner, you will be a key member of the Supply Chain team responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving demand forecasts that support production planning, inventory optimization, and customer service objectives. What you'll do: - Develop and maintain accurate short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer inputs. - Lead demand review activities within the SIOP process, analyzing forecast changes, risks, and opportunities, and recommending actions to meet service and inventory targets. - Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and key demand drivers; identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions. - Prepare and present weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and planning assumptions to leadership. - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to incorporate promotions, new program assumptions, customer commitments, and market intelligence into forecasts. - Monitor demand variability and identify risks related to forecast volatility, capacity constraints, or customer changes. - Maintain accurate demand planning and item master data within the ERP and planning systems. - Support inventory optimization by balancing forecast accuracy, service levels, and working capital objectives. - Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by developing ramp-up/ramp-down forecasts and managing lifecycle transitions and phase-in/phase-out plans.
