The Strategic Account Development role plays a critical role in driving incremental prospect growth across strategic accounts and new business channels. This commercial role combines elements of strategic account management, business development, and technical solution selling. This is not a purely strategic or account management role — the ability and willingness to prospect daily is essential for success. You’ll work closely with strategic account leaders, marketing, and product management to identify opportunities, engage new prospects, and expand Videojet’s presence in key accounts within our largest vertical markets. This role will use strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and business stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and build foundational skills in strategic account development. This position is part of the North America Commercial organization, reporting to the Director Strategic Accounts, North America and is hybrid in Chicago Metropolitan Area (Wood Dale, IL). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Prospect and Grow New Business - Identify and qualify new customer opportunities, driving incremental growth within assigned territories and accounts. - Develop Strategic Relationships - Partner with key stakeholders in existing and prospective accounts to understand needs and position Videojet’s coding, marking, and software solutions effectively. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work alongside internal sales, marketing, service, and product teams to ensure smooth execution of customer solutions and account growth initiatives. - Support Account Strategy Execution - Contribute to strategic account plans, pricing programs, and partnership agreements to strengthen customer engagement and revenue performance. - Leverage Data and CRM Tools - Maintain accurate sales funnel management and forecasting through Salesforce (SFDC) and data-driven decision-making. Manage monthly KPIs and needed reporting. - Demonstrate Value - Conduct onsite or virtual demonstrations showcasing the technical and operational benefits of Videojet solutions. - Continuous Improvement - Learn and apply the principles of the Veralto Enterprise System (VES) to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and growth outcomes.
