Role Overview The Analyst, Collections is responsible for all collections on assigned customers which includes maintaining internal and external customer relationships, and identifying, investigating, and resolving collection issues. This role develops and recommends payment agreements, maintains customer account reconciliation, forecasts customer payments, and prepares status reports to be circulated to the impacted business divisions. This position requires the ability to operate independently, with a high degree of self-sufficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Collections - - Ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation of customers' accounts allowing for timely collection of amounts owed - Identify, investigate and resolve collection issues in order to ensure collection in a timely manner - Identify debit balance and other situations that will impact the cash forecast and communicate the status to the cash application team - Provide customer service associated with collections while building customer relationships - Assess customer credit holds and determine which orders can be released - Develop, recommend, and implement payment arrangements with customers - Partner with the credit analysts with respect to collection issues and credit holds to determine if changes to credit limits are needed - Proactively engage and interact with the sales organizations regarding account status, orders, and payments in order to maximize revenue opportunities for the Company - Identify customers to be considered for monthly bad debt reserve based upon aging, payment trends, and country risk - Identify customers to be placed with collection agencies - Supply collections information for internal and external audits Reporting - - Generate reports to measure daily performance and align with team metrics - Meet month-end and quarter-end deadlines for reporting requirements - Prepare reports and analysis of collections activity and key insights as requested for management review Continuous Improvement - - Identify, develop, and implement system and process improvements - Seek opportunities for continued improvements, efficiencies, and best practices - Work with various teams to implement identified solutions and reduce operational inefficiencies Experience & Qualifications Education - - Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Experience Minimum 3 years - - Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration Languages - - Spanish Preferred Software/Technical Skills - - MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) - Microsoft Excel - SAP Financial module - High Radius Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and written within different levels of management and customers - Ability to manage multiple work assignments efficiently and effectively; prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently - Ability to present information in an effective and efficient manner - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns - Proven ability to use judgment to think through issues and present recommendations to management for appropriate action - Abilty to be a team player; participate in cross-functional teams and place the success of team and company above individual accomplishments - Ability to treat colleagues with respect and uphold the Brother Company values Additional Details for This Role This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by your manager. #LI-Hybrid Base Salary - The targeted base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $ 70,000 per year. - Base salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate, as well as factors such as internal equity, cost of labor in the hiring location, and alignment with market data. Additional Compensation - - Not a Bonus Eligible Role: This role is not eligible to participate in Brother's bonus incentive plan. The base pay accounts for the entirety of the role's annual cash compensation. About Where We Work Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Role Description The Coordinator, Foreclosure Special Servicing and Mediation is responsible for handling probate, second lien foreclosure matters, Statute of Limitation (SOL) reviews, foreclosure mediations, and other foreclosure exception processing as deemed necessary. The coordinator is required to attend foreclosure mediations via telephonic or in-person appearance as required across all portfolios and investors. The coordinator will review, manage and execute all legal documents related to the probate, foreclosure and/or mediation processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and investor guidelines. The coordinator is responsible for making decisions and providing resolutions regarding probate, foreclosure issues, and foreclosure mediations as deemed necessary to minimize risks and mitigate loss within their delegated authority. The coordinator is expected to provide management with status updates and prepare a variety of complex reports to ensure compliance with all agencies, investors, and insurers guidelines. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree from a Four (4) year College or University and four (4) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 7-10 years working knowledge of foreclosure laws and terminology. - Must have 3+ years of handling depositions and non-Jury Trials.
