Project Manager – Data Centres
Carrier
• Lead and manage all phases of project development including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer service teams. • Identify and mitigate potential risks to project timelines and quality and develop risk management strategies. • Meet with clients and relevant stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project ensuring technical feasibility. • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of one or multiple projects. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery. • Monitor, track progress and manage changes. • Monitor project budgets and ensure costs remain within allocated limits. • Regular travel to client meetings or Data Centre construction sites will be required.
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience in a similar role / leading and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent client-facing and strong interpersonal/communication skills with strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or Data Centre and/or constructions sites ecosystem.
- Occasional travels to visit manufacturing facilities will also be appreciated.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably HVAC, construction or a related manufacturing environment.
