Serve as a trusted subject matter expert and key partner to business owners. Ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, well-organized, and executed efficiently. Create a smooth, positive contracting experience for both internal and external partners. Strengthen processes and minimize risk. Essential Duties Review and revise contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies. Evaluate high-risk areas and novel terms; recommend courses of action to minimize risk exposure. Lead contract negotiations in partnership with business owners, as needed. Coordinate prospective contractor onboarding due diligence audits. Conduct annual and as-needed due diligence audits to maintain ongoing contractor compliance. Manage the company's contractual tracking software; maintain accurate, organized, and complete files. Lead the contract renewal process: alert responsible parties of upcoming expirations. Lead contract reviews with business owners; provide recommendations and track responses. Review and track all contracts and obligations, including renewal dates and compliance obligations. Train required parties on contract software usage and the full contract lifecycle. Conduct in-depth analysis of security events, network traffic, and endpoint data to identify malicious activity and potential breaches. Lead and participate in incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts, serving as a primary escalation point for critical security incidents. What you will need to succeed... 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to threat hunting or advanced incident response. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications: Preferred certifications GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler) and CompTIA CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst+) certification Proven, hands-on experience using platform for EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) and threat hunting. Expert-level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting, Python and EDR and SIEM query language is preferred. Deep understanding of incident response lifecycles, methodologies, and forensic techniques. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and common attack vectors. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation of hunting tasks is a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple investigations simultaneously. Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
