Unisys
• Provides Systems Administration support for an organization, functional unit or line of business. • Administers development, test and production servers, including reloading, re-imaging and debugging problems. • Installs, removes and upgrades software packages on test, development and production servers. • Performs daily monitoring of network systems, independently initiating proactive measures to ensure functionality, connectivity and load balance. • Troubleshoots systems and host environments, identifying and resolving faults, inconsistencies and systemic issues. • Evaluates, recommends and implements solutions to ensure systems functionality and compliance with company standards. • Provides network and systems evaluation and operational reports. • Updates systems record and ensures maintenance of accurate information. • Ensures computer programs in company use are properly licensed, adhere to company standards and are operational and functional. • Assists systems users by creating instructional how-to guides and by providing technical information and training.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must reside in Eastern Time Zone
- Eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government for export-controlled commodities and technology.
