Role Description The Procurement Analyst / Senior Procurement Analyst role (level based upon experience) is a high-visibility position that provides extensive opportunities to foster and grow your consulting career under the direction and guidance of a dynamic management and Partner team. Our Analysts engage directly with our clients on various Procurement and Supply Chain related initiatives focused on improving efficiency, driving effectiveness, and increasing their ability to influence spending and drive value through their organizations. What can you expect to do? - Strategic Sourcing Analytics & Support: - Gain exposure & experience in working with cross-functional teams on various projects, ranging from spend analysis, forecasting, & consolidation. - Conduct quantitative & qualitative assessments to develop TCO & Should Cost models and present findings to key client stakeholders. - Facilitate execution of end-to-end Sourcing process from requirements gathering to supplier negotiation. - Support development of category strategies including spend, supplier & industry best practices benchmarking. - Reporting & Procurement Operations Administration: - Support project budget, historical spend, savings projected vs. actuals, and value delivery tracking. - Report and update contract, change orders, supplier performance, and supplier risk. - Manage day-to-day procurement processes: Purchase Requisition (PREQ) to Purchase Order (PO) conversion. - Support execution of ad-hoc sourcing requests to provide excellent customer service. - Participate in client report-outs, process improvement & data optimization exercises. Qualifications - Previous experience in Supply Chain / Procurement. - 3-10+ years previous supply chain, procurement, or consulting experience with a Fortune 1,000 company. - Expert level skills with financial assessments, data assessments, MS Excel (including pivot tables), creating charts and graphs, and creating MS PowerPoint presentations. - At least one year of Procure-To-Pay platform experience (Ariba, Coupa, etc.) is highly preferred. - Ability to work creatively and quantitatively in a problem-solving environment. - Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization. - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. - Self-starter, multi-task, flexible, demonstrating initiative and confidence. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including formal presentation skills. - Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills. - Adaptable communication ability to conform to varied corporate cultures and organizational structures. - Supply chain and procurement assessments: interviewing, modeling and analytics, report writing. - Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: scoping, market and supplier research, RFx (development, management, and evaluation), negotiations. - Developing technical efficiency with spend assessments and visibility tools. - Hands-on experience on procurement tools like SAP, Ariba, Coupa etc. - Sourcing experience in categories such as IT, Professional Services, CAPEX, MRO, Marketing, Facilities Mgmt., Utilities, Logistics, Office Supplies etc. Benefits - Excellent growth and advancement opportunities that reward strong performance. - Direct access and mentoring with executives. - The ability to grow your expertise through exposure to a variety of projects and industries. - Family-like atmosphere and an entrepreneurial work environment. - The ability to participate in firm strategic planning, drive internal initiatives, and attend industry conferences.
