Role Description This is a remote role, but you are welcome to join us in our Munich office. This role is responsible for ensuring supplier quality performance, driving process improvements, and partnering closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with engineering, manufacturing, and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with machining suppliers and possess knowledge of machining processes, inspection methods, and supplier quality systems within an aerospace or high‑reliability manufacturing environment. Essential Functions • 25% – Visit suppliers to review product and process issues. Interface with internal and external customers (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, procurement) to ensure requirements are met. Analyze supplier processes and planning to verify compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, specifications, and related requirements. Review and approve supplier FAIs in accordance with AS9102. • 25% – Visit suppliers to perform investigations and root cause analyses to drive process improvements. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $73,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
