Job Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of experience in procurement and supply chain leadership,
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, supply chain management, engineering, construction, or a related field
- Recognized expertise in strategic procurement across public and private sectors, with experience in major capital programs
- Strong consulting background with experience managing client relationships at senior and executive levels
- Demonstrated success in leading high-value projects and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Deep understanding of contract development, supplier evaluation, commercial modeling, and negotiation strategies
- Experience across multiple sectors, with domain knowledge in real estate, infrastructure, or related industries preferred
- Proven ability to influence client behaviors and decisions, particularly in high-risk, high-value engagements.

Role Description The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager owns demand planning, inventory strategy, and global logistics oversight across the U.S., UK, and EU. This role ensures that forecasts, inventory targets, production plans, and logistics execution align with business priorities, service levels, and financial objectives. This position manages the Logistics Coordinator and works closely with the Head of Production to translate forecasts into executable production and replenishment plans. This is a highly cross-functional role partnering with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Support, co-packers (U.S. & Spain), 3PLs, and freight partners. The ideal candidate is analytical, process-driven, and proactive—comfortable building structure, driving accountability, and supporting a high-growth CPG environment. Key Responsibilities - Demand Planning, Inventory Strategy & S&OP - Own weekly and monthly demand forecasting across DTC, B2B, wholesale, and Amazon channels. - Lead supply chain inputs into the S&OP process, aligning demand forecasts with production capacity, inventory targets, lead times, and margin considerations. - Translate forecasts into executable supply and replenishment plans in coordination with the Head of Production. - Establish inventory targets by region and channel, balancing service levels, working capital, and expiration risk. - Monitor sell-through, forecast accuracy, safety stock levels, weeks of cover, and aging inventory. - Conduct SKU-level analysis to prevent overstock, stockouts, and expirations using FEFO principles. - Partner with Marketing and Finance to incorporate promotions, product launches, wholesale orders, and seasonality into demand planning. - Production & Supply Coordination - Convert approved S&OP outputs into production schedules, purchase orders, and replenishment timelines. - Issue and manage purchase orders; track production runs and manage lead times with domestic and international co-packers. - Coordinate closely with the Head of Production on packaging availability, batch tracking, and lot traceability. - Ensure documentation integrity and FEFO allocation across production runs. - Proactively identify supply constraints and recommend mitigation plans. - Logistics Management & Global Execution - Oversee and provide direction to the Logistics Coordinator, ensuring clear priorities and performance accountability. - Manage domestic and international logistics across the U.S., UK, and EU, including freight bookings, customs coordination, and 3PL alignment. - Ensure proper documentation for import/export compliance (ISF, HTS classifications, commercial invoices, COAs, FDA Prior Notice, FSVP, EU regulations). - Monitor inbound and outbound performance, resolving shipment delays, customs holds, and discrepancies. - Improve landed cost visibility and freight performance tracking. - Cost Optimization & Vendor Management - Provide cost, capacity, and lead-time visibility to support S&OP decision-making. - Track landed cost trends and freight as a percentage of revenue. - Support tradeoff analysis between service level, inventory investment, and margin. - Negotiate rates and service levels with freight forwarders, co-packers, warehouses, and brokers. - Maintain vendor performance scorecards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Inventory Control, Risk & Quality Oversight - Maintain visibility into finished goods, raw materials, and packaging inventory across co-packers and warehouses. - Monitor inventory turns, working capital impact, and expiration exposure. - Support quality documentation tracking (COAs, batch records, lot traceability). - Partner with production and vendors on corrective action plans when issues arise. - Develop risk mitigation plans for supply disruptions or demand variability. - Systems, Process & Reporting - Build and maintain SOPs for forecasting, S&OP execution, inventory reconciliation, compliance, and logistics coordination. - Develop tools, dashboards, and automation to improve forecast accuracy and operational visibility. - Generate weekly and monthly reporting on: - Forecast accuracy - Inventory health & turns - Service levels - Landed cost trends - Working capital impact - Support Customer Support with logistics-related escalations when necessary.
