Role Description The Reporting Fellow will be provided a chance to work directly with data scientists, strategists, analysts, and client leads on meaningful, hands-on work, while being guided and supported by their manager, a Senior Reporting Analytics Manager. The Reporting Fellow will learn the ins and outs of the progressive analytics consulting space. They will gain exposure to all parts of our analytics process - from collecting and organizing data to using data to analyze trends and patterns that could become useful insights for our clients. Fellows will engage with work that focuses on some of our most important clients, all while building professional analytics experience and developing a wide range of technical skills that will be immensely valuable. Fellows will receive strong mentorship by working closely with our staff who have a broad range of knowledge in the analytics space. The Reporting Fellow will work with BlueLabs for 12 weeks this summer, with the option to be either full-time or part-time based on availability. In this position you will: - Collect, clean, and upload datasets for use in analysis - Write simple ad-hoc SQL queries to assist with broader analysis - Conduct data uploads for surveys in the field for QC review - Design dashboards in Tableau and other BI solutions - Work with cross functional stakeholders, both internal and external to gather requirements for dashboards, and work iteratively with those stakeholders to ensure BI solutions met their needs - Support in the building of data pipelines used in reporting using SQL - Create documentation for BI dashboards and pipelines detailing data sources, KPI calculations, and dashboard elements and functions Qualifications - Experience developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau, including requirements gathering, design, and final dashboard implementation - Experience using SQL to analyze data and create datasets to be used in dashboard development - Ability to synthesize complex business requirements to technical specifications into visualizations that provide insightful analysis - Genuine passion for working with a progressive social impact organization - Eagerness to learn the fundamental techniques in data management, analysis, and visualization - Familiarity with - or interest in learning - a coding or statistical language such as SQL, Python, R, etc. - Experience with presentation and spreadsheet software (Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc.) - Familiarity with - or interest in learning - how to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences - Enthusiasm to learn how to use data to tell a story - Curiosity about complex datasets and willingness to expand technical skill set Benefits - Premier health insurance plan - Paid time off - Professional development & learning stipend - Flexible working hours - Remote/telecommuting options - And more!

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reporting solutions from scratch • Enhance existing dashboards and reporting workflows for usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, and other stakeholders to gather requirements • Troubleshoot dashboard, visualization, and data pipeline issues • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs • Proactively identify opportunities for workflow improvements and optimization of BI processes • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing support to junior team members

• You actively develop our BI and reporting landscape, ensuring data is cleanly prepared, meaningfully visualized, and operationally usable. • You work closely with Finance, Management and operational teams, bringing structure to complex data and reporting processes. • You develop dashboards, KPI frameworks and reports that enable real decision-making — not just display numbers. • You analyze company data, identify patterns, and derive concrete recommendations for action. • You identify opportunities for automation as well as modern AI-supported analysis and reporting solutions, helping to make processes more efficient and scalable. • You work on consistent data models, data quality and traceable reporting structures. • You collaborate closely with Finance, Management and operational areas and translate requirements into meaningful BI and reporting solutions.

• Serve as the primary administrator for Nexus, including user access, configuration, environment management, and release/upgrade coordination. • Act as the primary point of contact with Anthology (Nexus vendor) for support cases, defect triage, sandbox testing, and release/upgrade coordination. • Propose and implement configuration changes in Nexus — for example, grade policies, course structures, status workflows, and communication settings — in partnership with academic and operations leaders. • Maintain documentation of system configurations, integrations, and standard operating procedures. • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports in Nexus and related platforms using SSRS, SQL, and sound report design principles. • Build and support custom reports for operational and compliance needs, such as cohort completion rates, audits, stipend checks, status history, and transcripts. • Validate and QA data flows between Nexus, CORE, Salesforce, Pathify, and the EDW to ensure accurate, trustworthy reporting. • Guide teams on correct use of SIS data fields and tables (e.g., ExpStartDate vs. StartDate, Effective Date, NSLDS reporting fields). • Own and improve API-based integrations between Nexus and CORE, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and process enhancements. • Test and support new and existing integrations, including Salesforce-to-Nexus enrollment and other downstream connections. • Ensure students have reliable access to Pathify by maintaining the Nexus-to-Pathify provisioning flow and troubleshooting access issues as they arise. • Administer Hyland OnBase for SIS-related document storage, ensuring records are captured, indexed, and accessible. • Train academic, operations, and student services teams on Nexus functionality, reporting, and ADA-compliant practices. • Act as a trusted guide for faculty and staff, helping them understand the data, systems, and opportunities available within the SIS. • Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead requirements gathering for new reports, configurations, and integrations. • Document and resolve issues affecting data alignment, revenue recognition, and compliance.
