Title: Lead, Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Remote in Texas Job Description: Job Location: Remote in Texas Job Schedule: 9/80 Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Quality Supplier team to support our Texas and Oklahoma-based customers. Essential Functions: - Work closely with Planners, Program Quality Engineers, and Receiving Inspection to resolve supplier issues. - Visit suppliers and perform product acceptance of electrical assemblies. Interface with internal and external customers; i.e., engineering, manufacturing, supplier, procurement to ensure requirements are met. Analyze supplier processes and planning to verify compliance with purchase orders, engineering drawings, processes, specifications, etc. Work with suppliers to resolve issues with purchase order inspection packages. Investigate and report supplier quality history as requested by quality engineering or Quality & Mission Assurance (Q&MA) management. - Visit suppliers and perform investigation and root cause analysis to drive improvements into their processes. Be accountable for assigned suppliers' performance and ensure suppliers are performing with a 100% quality rating. - Visit suppliers to review technical, quality and other contractual requirements and ensure the supplier has an adequate understanding to develop a plan to meet all the requirements. Review the suppliers' plans for adequacy and ensure all requirements are met. This includes, pre-award, post award, manufacturing readiness and other periodic reviews as requested. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior related quality experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related quality experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related quality experience. Preferred Additional Skills: - Ability to synthesize and analyze data from several sources and develop a plan to take action based upon the data - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a close-knit team environment. - J-STD-001 Certification Preferred - IPC-610 Certification Preferred - J-STD-001 Space Addendum Certification Preferred - Strong problem solving, RCCA and investigation experience - Certified Quality Engineer strongly preferred In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $116,500 - $216,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $101,500 - $188,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
