Frontend Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Chakra UI. • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams to deliver intuitive and performant user experiences. • Own frontend architecture decisions, including state management, component design systems, performance optimization, and accessibility. • Build interfaces that help customers analyze complex security data, including audit logs, secrets exposure, and remediation workflows. • Lead frontend initiatives that improve usability, onboarding, and feature adoption across the product experience. • Improve frontend developer experience through reusable components, testing strategies, tooling, and engineering best practices. • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaborative problem-solving. • Contribute to technical planning and roadmap discussions, helping shape the future direction of our frontend platform. • Advocate for quality, maintainability, and thoughtful user experience across the engineering organization.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong expertise in frontend web development with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex, production-grade web applications.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, component-driven development, and responsive UI design.
  • Experience collaborating with backend APIs and full-stack systems.
  • Familiarity with Django REST Framework or similar API technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Passion for creating polished, accessible, and user-centric experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software in fast-paced environments.

Role Description This is a remote position. We are seeking an experienced Short Sale Expert to join our Sell to Rent team, helping homeowners navigate difficult financial situations when they owe more on their mortgage than their property is worth. This role focuses on guiding homeowners through the short sale process while providing compassionate, consultative support and identifying solutions that allow families to remain in their homes through Sell to Rent options when applicable. Key Responsibilities - Homeowner Consultation & Advisory - Serve as a trusted advisor for homeowners facing negative equity, financial hardship, or foreclosure risk. - Educate homeowners on available solutions, including short sale, Sell to Rent, loan resolution options, and foreclosure alternatives. - Conduct discovery calls to understand homeowner financial situations and property conditions. - Build trust with distressed homeowners and provide empathetic, solution-oriented guidance. - Short Sale Management - Manage short sale files from initial homeowner consultation through closing. - Collect and review homeowner financial documentation, hardship letters, mortgage statements, and required lender packages. - Coordinate the preparation and submission of complete short sale packages to lenders. - Negotiate with mortgage lenders, servicers, and loss mitigation departments to obtain short sale approvals. - Monitor foreclosure timelines and ensure proactive file management to avoid auction dates. - Transaction Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with underwriting, title, legal, and transaction coordination teams to move files efficiently through the pipeline. - Identify and escalate title curative issues, liens, judgments, HOA balances, and other encumbrances impacting transactions. - Collaborate with investor and acquisitions teams to structure viable homeowner solutions. - Maintain accurate CRM updates and document tracking throughout the lifecycle of each transaction. - Pipeline & Performance Management - Manage a high-volume pipeline of distressed homeowner cases while maintaining strong conversion and closing metrics. - Follow up consistently with homeowners, lenders, and third-party stakeholders to ensure progress. - Maintain compliance with company processes, timelines, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications - 3+ years of short sale experience in U.S. residential real estate. - Proven experience managing 200+ short sale transactions from intake to closing. - Strong understanding of: - Short sale process and lender negotiations - Loss mitigation - Foreclosure timelines - Mortgage servicing - Negative equity situations - Title and lien resolution - Distressed real estate transactions - Experience working with distressed homeowners and sensitive financial situations. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously. - Experience using CRM systems and transaction management platforms.
