Design Technology Manager
NORR
Role Description The Design Technology Manager utilizes excellent understanding of the design and technical document production process to act as a central resource within the office. - Provide training and support to the project teams - Collaborate in the development and implementation of BIM Project Execution Plans - Improve quality and productivity by setting and auditing model integrity of building information models - Ensure the office is at the forefront of emerging trends and in compliance with NORR standards - Research and provide recommendations on additional software and technologies - Provide input and insight in the development of firm wide common templates, libraries and other resources by acting as a local office representative on the global Design Technology Committee Qualifications - Have successfully completed related post-secondary education in Architecture or Engineering - Architectural or Engineering software skills; e.g., Revit, and AutoCAD; Revit family creation - BIM technologies and processes - Customer Service, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, time management, integrity, open mindedness, teamwork, adaptability, willingness to learn, leadership - Registered with a relevant professional architectural, engineering or technologist association, or possessing a BIM certification is an asset - Ability to obtain security clearance is an asset Requirements - 2-5 years of experience on Architecture and/or Engineering projects - 5-7 years of experience on BIM management, Revit, and software deployment Benefits - Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 / annually - NORR offers all of its employees the opportunity to work either from home or from a NORR office Company Description NORR is an employee-owned global architecture and engineering firm.
