Field Marketing Manager

• Lead the entire event strategy efforts for lead generation and customer engagement at events including the planning and development of necessary promotional materials, setting up lead capture system, and identifying key target audiences. • Plan and execute a range of field marketing initiatives, including live events, tradeshows, executive events, customer conference and experiential marketing campaigns that align with the company’s overall marketing objectives. • Oversee all logistics, coordination, and on-site management of events and tradeshows. • Ensure seamless execution, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up. • Work closely with sales, product, and marketing teams to align event strategies with business goals and sales objectives. • Collaborate with regional team members within Revenue and Product to ensure appropriate tactical and strategic engagement of current, potential and former customers. • Ensure brand consistency and awareness across all field marketing activities, ensuring that messaging, booth design, promotional materials, and overall event experience align with company values and standards. • Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring that all events are executed within budget while maximizing ROI. • Regularly report and analyze the effectiveness of field marketing campaigns. • Provide post-event summaries, including key metrics such as lead generation, attendance, and engagement, in addition to key learnings. • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, event organizers, and industry partners to ensure smooth execution of events. • Manage, coach, and mentor a small team of event and field marketing professionals to ensure productive performance and talent pipeline growth within the department and broader business division. • Identify, create and maintain a calendar of events that keeps stakeholders informed, and run events that will attract and impress our target audience. • Create and own a standardized Skillable event playbook to execute and support various sized events focused on dedicated internal customers including direct U.S. sales, EMEA sales and partnerships. • Generate leads at events by meeting with attendees, delivering presentations or demonstrations and procuring contact information. • Track the success of lead generation efforts and report on key metrics, such as the number of leads generated, conversion rates, and ROI. • Support and promote the company values through positive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. • Other strategic business initiatives or special cross-functional project involvement as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in field marketing, with a strong focus on live events, tradeshows, and experiential marketing.
  • 2+ years of management experience leading functional work groups or project teams successfully.
  • Proven experience managing and leading teams of varying sizes, ensuring productivity, collaboration and achievement of team goals.
  • Proficient in event planning software and tools such as Hubspot
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale events and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and promoting collaborative partnerships to drive results.
  • Ability to present and convey material both formally and informally to all levels of the organization
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, event booth design, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination leadership
  • Ability to analyze event performance and provide data-driven insights to improve future campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience managing to a budget and closely delivering within expense constraints.
  • Big picture thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events and tradeshows.
