Role Description The Sales Analyst is responsible for creating reports, interpreting data, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making in a dynamic sales division. This role will collaborate with leaders to focus on business planning, sales performance analysis, and identifying growth opportunities. The Analyst contributes to planning meetings, delivering market intelligence to guide strategies. Key responsibilities include: - Mastering business planning, performance evaluation, inventory management, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting. - Proficiency in analyzing customer behavior, brand performance, sales trends, and market dynamics while ensuring compliance with business rules. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience. - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business analytics, business planning and/or equivalent analytics role. - Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software. - Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills. - Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines. - Analytic and reporting skills. - Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment. Requirements - Proficiency in Excel and other analytical system tools/databases (e.g., SAP WEBI/BOBJ, PowerBI, Connected Excel, TABS Analytics, Nielsen, etc.). - Proficiency leveraging syndicated (Nielsen, IRI, etc.), consumer, shopper research and/or category management data. - Sales or Marketing experience with major CPG company.
