NeuroPsych Account Specialist

Neurocrine Biosciences

• Responsible for a specific geographic territory and the successful promotion and growth of Neurocrine products. • Manage and develop long-term relationships with physicians and other customers for targeted accounts in their assigned territory. • Represent Neurocrine brand(s) and their approved indications. • Educate external customers such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, case managers, etc. about the benefits of our product(s). • Drive product acceptance and growth through targeted education and strategic account management. • Execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed objectives via in-person and virtual communications. • Identify and address territory-specific opportunities and barriers to product success. • Effectively manage promotional resources and budget. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare providers, clinical staff, key opinion leaders and advocacy groups, community mental health clinics and long term care facilities, local/regional payers and pharmacies.

Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in science or related field AND Minimum of 4 years of commercial pharma/biotech or related experience
  • 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical or LTC, Psychology, or Neurology sales experience
  • Close-door or specialty pharmacy distribution experience strongly preferred
  • Psychiatry, neurology or antipsychotic experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with business systems, salesforce automation platforms, and other business intelligence tools (e.g., Salesforce.com, Oracle database, SAP, Business Objects, COGNOS, QlikView, Veeva, etc.)
  • OR Master's degree in science or related field AND 2+ years of similar experience noted above

Role Description The Estimator II prepares timely and accurate bid estimates for medium to large sized projects/programs within an assigned line of business, Region or Division and helps plan all projects with expectations for the efficient use of personnel, equipment, materials and subcontractors within contract requirements, time guidelines and other restrictions. The Estimator II will fully understand the major business components and implications specific to estimating and cost control for Construction Companies while ensuring compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholding H&M safety and quality management protocols. Responsibilities - Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed cost estimates and bid documentation for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and substation projects supporting BPA Master Service Agreement (MSA) scopes. - Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements to develop accurate and competitive project estimates. - Travel to project sites to evaluate existing conditions, validate constructability, and support estimate accuracy. - Lead bid strategy discussions and support proposal development, pricing reviews, and customer presentations. - Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and field operations teams during estimate development and project execution. - Monitor awarded contracts for scope changes, extra work authorizations, material impacts, credits, and other cost-related items. - Assist field personnel in identifying, developing, and recommending change orders and scope modifications as needed. - Ensure all bid submissions, customer deliverables, and presentation requirements are completed accurately and within established deadlines. - Identify potential construction risks, schedule impacts, and operational challenges, while recommending cost-effective solutions to minimize risk and improve project execution. - Support procurement planning by coordinating material pricing, vendor quotations, and subcontractor scopes. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating methodologies, tools, processes, and reporting aligned with H&M Project Management practices. - Interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding planning, scheduling, reporting requirements, progress updates, and project coordination activities. - Prepare and present estimate summaries, project assumptions, risk assessments, and pricing recommendations to leadership and clients. - Maintain effective communication with clients, project teams, and leadership while demonstrating professionalism and influencing project outcomes through collaboration and technical expertise. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience estimating mid-sized utility infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of Transmission & Distribution (T&D), substation construction, and utility industry practices. - Proficiency with computerized estimating and bidding software (i.e. B2W, as well as advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). - Working knowledge of project management principles and practices, including completion of H&M Project Management Methodology (PMM) training and/or formal project management coursework. - Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate project risks, interpret technical documentation, and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. - Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, procurement, and client teams. - Ability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced project environment. - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in cost development, documentation, and reporting.
