Role Description This position reports to the Senior Director of People Operations and supports full-cycle recruiting execution across every function at Adelaide—sales, partnerships, customer success, operations, analytics, engineering, ad ops, marketing, and more. You’ll join a small, hands-on People Ops team as our dedicated recruiter inside the business, partnering closely with founders, leadership, hiring managers, and People Ops to help scale the company thoughtfully and intentionally. This is not a coordination-only recruiting role. We’re looking for someone who wants to operate as a true embedded recruiting partner—proactively building pipelines, sourcing exceptional talent, advising hiring managers, running structured interview processes, and helping us continue to evolve and scale recruiting at Adelaide. You’ll help shape how recruiting operates at Adelaide—from sourcing strategy and candidate experience to interview structure, recruiting workflows, and long-term talent mapping. We’re looking for someone with high agency, strong judgment, and a hands-on approach who wants to help raise the hiring bar across the company. Scope and leveling are flexible depending on experience, with a meaningful opportunity to help shape and evolve recruiting at Adelaide over time. We’re flexible on engagement model and open to full-time, contract, embedded/fractional, or partnering with someone building their own consulting practice. This is a fully remote role within the United States, with opportunities to connect with colleagues at our New York office. You’ll need to be in NYC a few times per year. What you'll learn - Access to a broad network of investors and advisors who can help you and your team succeed - Mentorship from executives with decades of experience in adtech and media - Regular internal knowledge-sharing sessions - An education budget to support ongoing professional growth and development - Direct collaboration with founders and senior leaders on hiring strategy, org design, and scaling - Experience building and evolving recruiting infrastructure inside a fast-growing company - Exposure across nearly every business function, from GTM and partnerships to analytics and engineering - The opportunity to help shape how talent acquisition evolves at Adelaide as we continue to scale Core responsibilities - Lead full-cycle recruiting execution across technical, GTM, operational, and leadership hiring - Partner with hiring managers and leadership on hiring strategy, role calibration, and interview process design - Build proactive sourcing pipelines and long-term talent maps across adtech, media, programmatic, analytics, and startup ecosystems - Source, engage, and manage candidate pipelines across active and future hiring needs - Run structured interview processes from intake through offer stage - Help improve recruiting operations, documentation, interview structure, and hiring workflows - Manage recruiting activity and pipeline tracking within Rippling ATS and related recruiting tools - Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership on talent market trends and hiring recommendations What you'll bring - A few years of in-house, embedded, startup, or scale-up recruiting experience (not purely agency recruiting) - Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting processes end-to-end - Adtech, programmatic, media-tech, or startup recruiting exposure — or an active network in the space - Comfort recruiting across both GTM and technical functions - Strong sourcing instincts and ability to proactively build talent pipelines - High agency, strong judgment, and a hands-on approach - Low ego, highly collaborative, and comfortable operating on a lean team - Strong communication, responsiveness, and follow-through - Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in understanding the business and roles you support - Familiarity with modern recruiting tools and workflows (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, etc.) What will set you apart - An active, engaged network within adtech, programmatic, or media-tech - Experience helping build recruiting processes or infrastructure from the ground up - Technical or engineering recruiting experience - Experience partnering directly with founders or senior leadership at a startup - Strong market mapping and proactive talent pipeline development skills Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off - Parental leave - Employee development & wellness stipend - Holiday break - Volunteer time off - Competitive salary - Performance-based quarterly bonus - Stock options - 401(k) retirement plan - Remote-first environment - New York office access - Access to available WeWork spaces Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement Adelaide is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where all employees can thrive.
