Growth Marketing Lead

Goodie AI

Title: Growth Marketing Lead Location: New York City Department: Growth Marketing Job Description: We Are Goodie helps leading brands win AI search. As billions of people use ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI systems to discover products and make buying decisions, brands need a way to understand and influence how they're represented. Goodie gives teams a full AI control plane: real-time visibility into how AI models speak about their brand and products, how competitors show up, and an optimization engine to improve visibility and performance. This category didn't exist two years ago. We were early, and we're defining it. We're backed by strong investors, trusted by category-leading customers, and scaling fast. We're hiring curious, ambitious builders to help shape the future of AI search. We're Looking For A hybrid operator who is equal parts marketer, strategist, and builder. You will own the full growth engine end-to-end and report directly to the CEO. You’re comfortable setting up tracking, building automations, and running experiments with statistical rigor. You’re also senior enough to own the strategic roadmap and present growth performance directly to the CEO. This is a role for someone who leads from the front and operates across every layer, from high-level strategy to hands-on execution. You will work side-by-side with our growth marketing agency partner, who handles paid, content, and creative execution at scale. Your job is to set the strategy, coordinate the agency team, hold them accountable to results, and get into the work with them. You own the brief and the results. You own the strategy and the execution. You'll Do Brand and Product Marketing - Define and own Goodie's brand narrative, positioning, and messaging across all audiences and channels - Own positioning and messaging for product launches and feature releases - Maintain competitive intelligence across the AEO, GEO, and broader AI search landscape - Own top-of-funnel and bottom-of-funnel metrics and report directly to the CEO Growth, Performance, and AEO - Own Goodie's AEO and SEO performance directly: we sell the platform, so we have to win at it ourselves - Plan and run paid campaigns with direct, hands-on involvement: write the briefs, analyze performance, iterate creative and messaging - Run a high-velocity experimentation program with clear hypotheses, real statistical rigor, and documented learnings Analytics and Attribution - Build the measurement stack yourself: GA4, attribution modeling, leadership dashboards - Connect every marketing dollar to revenue with clear, defensible attribution - Live in the data: build your own models, identify the metrics that matter, and ruthlessly cut the ones that don't Automation and AI Leverage - Build automations, workflows, and internal tools that multiply marketing throughput - Use AI tools across the funnel: research, content, outreach, ops, reporting, and competitive intelligence - Treat the marketing function like a software product: ship, measure, iterate Agency Management - Run the day-to-day relationship with the agency partner: set priorities, assign work, and hold the team accountable to KPIs - Coordinate across agency functions (paid media, AEO/SEO, content, creative) to ensure integrated campaign execution - Treat the agency as an extension of your team and execute alongside them, not above them What You Bring - 5+ years in growth, performance marketing, or hybrid marketing roles, ideally at an early-stage B2B SaaS company; clear track record of owning a growth number and hitting it - Hands-on technical comfort: you can set up tracking and attribution infrastructure, build and iterate on landing pages without waiting on engineering, and build your own data models without needing someone to create a dashboard for you - Deep SEO background with hands-on AEO or GEO experience, or a strong intuition for how AI models surface and cite brand content; experience running a structured experimentation program with clear hypotheses and documented learnings - Proven, daily use of AI tools across your own workflow, and experience or clear trajectory towards managing a team to clear KPIs - Exceptional storytelling ability: you can translate complex technology into compelling narratives for customers and the broader market Bonus If You Have - Experience as an early or founding marketing hire at a high-growth startup - Direct expertise in AEO, GEO, SEO, or AI search marketing - Familiarity with Goodie's space: martech, SEO platforms, or AI-native products - Experience building or scaling a marketing function from an early foundation - Experience managing a team to clear KPIs - Prior experience in Sales or Business Development EEO & Compensation Transparency Statement: Goodie AI is committed to pay transparency and equity among all employees and provide employees an environment where pay transparency and dialogue on compensation are allowed. Goodie AI complies with federal, state, and local laws on compensation, pay transparency, and pay equity. We take factors including geographic location, education, training, skillset, market rates, certifications, and more into consideration when constructing pay ranges for new and existing roles within our organization. The compensation range for this position is $110,000-$160,000. At Goodie AI, we understand that diversity in the workplace is vital to a company’s success and growth. We strive to make sure that our team members are included and have a sense of belonging that makes us a great company to work with and a great company to work for. To that end, Goodie AI is committed to Equal Opportunity Employment and comply with all Equal Opportunity Employment laws. We will consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We will work to make reasonable accommodations available in the job application and interview process, to perform essential duties of the job function, and to retrieve other benefits and privileges of employment with our organization. Role Description At Way2B1, our mission is to help individuals and families leverage the full potential of their advisors to make better decisions that positively affect their wellbeing, day to day lives, and overall peace of mind. As clients thrive, we believe their ecosystem needs to be much more collaborative, data driven, responsive and effective. Our B2B SaaS technology is at the center of the interactions within their ecosystems and turns otherwise chaotic, unorganized life projects into enjoyable experiences. We are a fast growing organization working with Fortune 100 customers, family offices and a variety of life management professionals. Our employees value kindness, integrity and accountability. As Head of Growth, you'll drive revenue growth, expand our market presence, and shape the partnerships that define our future. You'll work across teams — from Product to Marketing to Client Success — turning insights, integrations, and relationships into measurable impact. We have outstanding relationships with large, growing wealth management institutions and we need someone to lead our efforts to drive usage and adoption within them. In short, we're looking for a strategic doer — a builder who can see the big picture and roll up their sleeves to make it real. Qualifications - 8+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment. - A track record of driving growth through innovation, storytelling, and execution. - Experience leading teams and scaling processes from the ground up. - Deep understanding of solution selling, pricing strategy, and integration ecosystems. - Strong communicator and relationship-builder — equally comfortable with clients, partners, and product engineers. - Obsessed with data, details, and outcomes — you don't just sell, you measure and iterate. Requirements - Design and execute creative go-to-market strategies that support product-led growth and expand our client base. - Identify new market opportunities, build scalable playbooks, and translate strategy into results. - Keep a sharp eye on market trends, customer needs, and competitive shifts and turn those insights into action. - Build and lead a high-performing Growth team that thrives on collaboration, experimentation, and impact. - Coach and mentor team members to own their goals and think like entrepreneurs. - Foster a culture of curiosity, agility, and data-driven decision-making. - Amplify the outreach capacity of our CEO in terms of evangelizing our products, expanding within existing customers, and closing new deals. - Know our product inside and out — and know how to adapt it to meet evolving client needs. - Spot product gaps, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with Product Development to drive product-led growth. - Partner with the Product and Finance teams to shape and refine pricing strategies that balance value and scale. - Lead an integration-driven BD strategy — using technical synergies and partnerships to unlock new markets and value streams. - Cultivate relationships with key integration partners, co-develop joint solutions, and drive ecosystem growth. - Be the connector who makes things happen — inside and outside the company. - Be the metrics evangelist — bring data, facts, and client stories to every conversation. - Bring back real client data, stories, and metrics to inform decisions — and close the loop between client experience and product innovation. - Track KPIs across sales, adoption, and success to show what's working (and what's not). - Use data to tell the story of our growth — and help shape the next chapter. - With the CEO, represent the company at conferences, events, and in partner conversations. - Build our marketing machine and team to craft compelling narratives, content, and campaigns that build brand awareness and thought leadership. - Build our sales team to begin to scale and standardize our acquisition of new clients and institutional partners. - With the company, investors and customers, discover the best possible way to present what our company does and which problems we solve. - Collaborate and support the full client success journey in partnering with the Head of Customer Success from onboarding to long-term growth. - Build our Growth team in alliance with our Customer Success team partnering with our Head of Customer Success. - Build strong relationships with individual users so they feel like part of our team. - Ensure proactive, hands-on engagement that delights clients and drives retention. - Oversee and evolve client resources, documentation, and support materials (and help us centralize them into tools like Gamma). - Adopt and utilize software and other technological utilities to ensure Growth at the highest possible level. Benefits - You’ll interface directly with our CEO, executive team and product team to help scale all business efforts. - You’ll shape the growth engine of a company that's innovating fast and thinking big. - You’ll work with a product that evolves as fast as our clients do — and a team that values creativity over convention. - You’ll have the autonomy to experiment, the data to learn, and the support to scale your impact.
