• Work with suppliers and internally to set aggressive but fair goals around volume growth, new business pipeline performance, and material margins • Network high, wide, and deep at suppliers, and foster a reputation for being a collaborative problem-solver and a trusted advocate of suppliers’ best interests • Ensure alignment between suppliers’ and internal strategies, and promote functional relationships between organizations (i.e. commercial, marketing, supply chain) • Track status of distribution contracts and negotiate renewals, amendments, and new contracts, ensuring product access, operating regions, pricing mechanisms, and payment terms are acceptable • Collaborate internally across functions and leadership levels to solve business problems • Own working relationships with select key suppliers
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred, but commensurate experience considered
- 5+ years product management or commercial experience, preferably in polymers
- Good understanding of distribution business model, focus industries, customers, products, and chemistries
- Good understanding of financial concepts including sales revenue, margins, and working capital
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort presenting in front of large audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 1-3 times a month

Role Description Temporary position for 12 months. As a Product Administration Specialized Agent, you provide administrative support to Desjardins components and help administer specialized products and member/client accounts. You provide discipline-specific technical support and help your unit carry out its activities, initiatives and processes in accordance with established policies and procedures. You support your unit’s more experienced employees and assist with technical work and analysis involving processes, information management and data processing.
